An experience that will haunt you forever!  Located at Walters Farm and Pumpkin Patch (voted one of twelve Pumpkin Patches to visit in the USA) just north of El Dorado, Kansas. Open every Friday & Saturday night in October.  The PUMPKIN PATCH closes at 7:00pm when all patrons exit the farm to the parking lots. The Haunted Cannery box office is open from 7:30pm til 11:00pm.

All general admission tickets include the hayride taking you to the "The Haunted Cannery" and "Lunatic Asylum"   Victims get aboard either the Hayride tractor pulled covered wagon or the "Hell Bound" Ambulance (RIP-FAST PASS ticket required) for the start of your nightmare adventure. Once inside the Lunatic Asylum maze, patients bang their heads and plead to leave the "hell" that they are in. The Haunted Cannery is the ultimate 4 story spook house. It is everything found in your worst nightmare.  Participants who pay the extra for RIP FAST pass ticket admission get to experience the unique exclusive closed lid rolling casket ride at the RIP FAST PASS MORTUARY.  Now take a horrifying close encounter to dying and experiencing the darkness while locked in a claustrophobic rolling casket on rails. (limit 2 corpses). that takes you to the front of the line.

  •  Pay $5 more for a  Scaredy pants upgraded ticket along with a general admission or RIP ticket. It is for those people who want to be left alone or not wanting a big scare.  Just show your glow in the dark rosary beads that you'll get with this ticket upgrade to ward off those pesky vampires.

TicketLeap applies a small service fee for ON-LINE tickets.There are no timed tickets.  It's FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED. Some queue lines may be inevitably long. Plan for up to 2 hours on busy nights closer to the end of season.

Please note that attendance at any public event increases the risk of contracting COVID-19 or other airborne illness. Attendees assume all risk associated with attendance. Any attendees who feel ill, regardless of their symptoms, should not attend this event.

Restrictions

Not recommended for children under age 8. No strollers or babies in carriers are allowed on the hayride wagons at night. They may wait up front at the well lighted kid friendly concession stand area with an adult. Adults / parents are not to be carrying young kids through this event. Kids should be able to walk by themselves. Kids and adults must be able to walk, crawl, climb steep ramps, and be able to go down very steep slides by themselves. There are no refunds if kids or adults have to exit for any reason. Even with a Scaredy pants ticket upgrade we cannot guarantee it. Keep in mind, you are entering a haunted attraction intended to scare you. Attendees are not permitted to wear costumes to this event.

We will deny tickets to intoxicated patrons.

 No Alcohol or illegal drugs permitted in the parking lots or the farm. No tailgaiting permitted in parking lots. No Smoking in buildings. Please no flashight or lighter usage in haunted dark areas. We want to scare you?? No touching actors  No touching props.

The Haunted Cannery & Lunatic Asylum uses strobe lights and/or fog machines. These effects can trigger symptoms for those with asthma or seizure disorders. Please bring an inhaler if you use one for asthma. Do not enter if you are prone to seizures.Those who are elderly, out of shape people, high blood pressure, pregnant and /or have heart conditions, asthma, bad backs, arthritis or are on crutches/braces/wheelchairs are not encouraged to attend the event. There are very narrow claustrophobic passages, steep ramps going up and down and slipper slides that can be very fast. This event can be very physically demanding for some people. Please stay home if you fall into this category.

Please wear appropriate clothing for an indoor / outdoor event. You will be on a working farm. Wear coats and long pants to cover exposed skin on arms and legs & preferably no open toed shoes, no flipflops, no shorts exposing bare skin on your legs, as there will be exposure to dirt, mud, dense fog and/or smoke, uneven floors or ramps, dark & FAST slipper SLIDES, dimly lit stairs, snakes, darkness, loud Noises, electrical shock, bright lights (including Strobe lights), and other scary surprises. Lost and Found items will be turned in to the front office at the farm. We are not responsible nor liable for lost /found items, torn or soiled clothing items.
